To Hear These Words

I can't wait to hear these words from Jesus spoken over the sons and daughters that are of His kingdom: "And He sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful." [Revelation 21:5]

Lots of things get old, die, shrivel up, become unquenched. But to hear and live in the glory of these words when we commands all things to be new...there will be nothing like it. We want to hear new music, eat new and interesting foods, find new and exciting relationships, yet possibly forget that one day, all things, everything - will be made new. Thats a beautiful and establishing thought. To live ones life in a way that cherishes what is around now - but yearns for the 'making new' of all things. We live a pretty amazing existence. I wonder what heaven and earth will be like when they are new again. What do you think?
