Portlandville

This afternoon, my brother and his girlfriend, Torie and I and a suprise guest - - - Drew Rickman! made our way into the heart of downtown portland. It was complete with the following:

• Whole Foods visit - they sell TOMS shoes and have cheeses i've never remotely heard of.
• Powell's books - as always, a bit overwhelming - how do you navigate such an intensely large bookstore?
• A visit to Voodoo Donuts - I snagged an Old Fashioned donut with maple bar frosting on it. Must admit - best tasting donut i've had in awhile.
• Pioneer Place Mall - The gyros was grand.
• Drew's 'fact' - Portland has more fountains in city limits than any other U.S. city.
