Dances With Wolves

Tonight, Torie saw the entire film. I was proud of her to sit through hour upon hour, but we came to the end of it and were so glad that she stuck it out. It's a film that I connect with well [partly because I want and wanted to be an indian growing up] but also the story and the beauty of a people that came before settlement, treaties, and expansion. A certain untamed, wild, unpredictable side of this life is what draws me.
