I Dream

I find myself dreaming [during the day] of normal, abnormal, paranormal, and ultra-gnar-gnar-normal things. I dream of being able to fly and how to be a better disciple. I dream of the next guitar I'll buy and the ability I have to make a difference in another person's world. I dream that someday, I'll have sons and daughters that will call me daddy, Father, and friend. I dream of places I haven't seen yet, things I haven't tasted, things I haven't touched, things I haven't heard. In all this dreaming, I find myself taking small steps to some of them happen. I find that at the center of these dreams is an adventure, whether big or small, and I have this unique chance to choose if I want to see the dream come into reality or stay a dream. I guess thats where all choices come into balance; whether we choose to act or watch. Some dreams are super intimidating, but what stories would come out of easy, sweatless, tearless, painless, dreams? I've started to see a pattern in my dreams; the're more about God and people than me. The're risky and dangerous, but I know its right. What are your dreams?
