Great Things - Are They Simple?

I thought that was a sentence well put. Do think all great things are simple? I guess it would depend on what is great for you. For me...

  • A really good cup of coffee - simply great.
  • A really good song - usually, simple.
  • An acoustic guitar - wood and metal - simply great.
  • A platter of rice and beans and pico de gallo - so simple | so great.
  • A summer swim - so simple.

I think many times we mistake simple for easy. The things Churchill spoke about in that quote ARE very simple in concept, yet are very difficult to achieve and fulfill. Our focus should be this simple. Our task in fulfilling this focus can, and will at times, be very difficult.
