Merry Christmas Number Twenty-Two

Well - in the span of these past few weeks, so great things have taken place. So I thought I would present a list of these things that have either been near and dear or unrelated to this wonderful season of Christmas.

• My second post, [check it out here] was about a shoe company that donates a pair for every pair purchased. At the beginning of the month when I posted, they had sold 9,000 pairs...they are now at 27,000 pairs! That is incredible! They are closing in on their goal of 30,000 pairs that will be placed on children in Ethiopia who NEED them. Torie, Jon and I and have purchased TOMS this month and think you should too!

• Jason and his wife, who are headed to Ethiopia to adopt their son, Elyas, are heading out the day after Christmas! [check out my post about this here.] God as been providing those thousands for them through people. This is rad. If you would like to help with this, email me here.

• Regardless of the conditions, the snow has been quite a blessing. It's like a lifetime dream to have this much snow so close to Christmas. This has equally been rad and savory.

• Watching "White Christmas" never gets old. Its a fantastic movie. I am very glad that Bing, Danny, Rosemary, and Vera-Ellen put their heart and soul into this flick. I'll be sure to pass this on to the children someday.

• The year is coming to a close and the new year is soon to be upon us. I trust that all of you are hopeful that good things are going to happen to you and that God's favour is refreshed upon you. I am looking forward to getting to know Jesus more this next year and letting that translate into the people that I will meet and love.
