Why?

Homey Taylor Kenneth Lyall just released an increasingly good post about why God created us, the earth, etc. [Check out the full post here.] Here is a short section of his post: 

Why Did God Create the World? This question was tossed around a bit by my family today. I have heard people say that He was lonely or that He needed us to do His work for Him. From my Bible College education and personal exploration, I think I have an answer. God definitely wasn’t lonely.
