THE FRESHMAN SMALL GROUP

I am so blessed to have the opportunity that I do. Every other Wednesday, a small group of freshman boys from around thurston county join forces in tumwater at a wonderful house. We have had stellar hang sessions over the past few months, but tonight I saw these boys really begin to grasp [in small steps], one of the meanings of being a Christ-follower. We spent the last twenty minutes sharing with one another what we want to see happen this year [could be personal, could be for someone else, etc.] and then went to God in prayer asking and believing for Him to show up in these situations. I believe that out of the dozens of prayers that were offered, God heard everyone of them. And He will remember everyone of them. I saw the boys become more like the men of God we talk about in the bible...men who will go after the things of God and stop at nothing to get it. It was a huge blessing to witness this transformation. God is moving here - - - make no mistake.
