Extravagance | So Beautiful

My co-worker, Edwin, shared an awesome experience he had today during lunch. He saw a homeless man outside of a fast-food joint today and asked him if he wanted some food. The man said yes and Edwin invited him in to feed him. He told the guy to get whatever he wanted and the guy did just that. A quad-patty burger, blizard, and shake later, Edwin was sitting in a booth talking to this guy about Jesus. Edwin's time was short with him and he really wanted to leave the guy with something that would help him out. So he gave him $100! Ha! Then we noticed that the guy had a dog. So he bought the dog a quad-patty burger. So incredible.

Edwin displayed a level of giving that I don't see much. He really gave extravagantly. It makes me think about how we, as Christ-followers, have so much opportunity to give extravagantly and don't for whatever reason, excuse, etc. Hearing about Edwin's experience and somewhat quick decisions really encouraged me and showed me just a glimpse of how extravagant God's love really is. It takes care of everything.
