LET KNOWLEDGE BE SECOND AND LOVE BE FIRST

Here is an interesting thought. Love is the one thing that we don't need knowledge of or practice [most of the time] to show and give. So many things we do regularly, require maintainance, evaluation, vision, etc. Love doesn't rely on those things to operate. Sure, its good to practice and maintain and evaluate and plant vision for love...but when its all said and done and the day is over, love really doesn't require us to do much. It operates on the basis that Love itself  reached us first. That should be our perspective on love. That we recognize where it came from and why it came. Sometimes I think I don't know how to show love. Then I look at the definitions of love through the word:

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
   Love doesn't strut,
   Doesn't have a swelled head,
   Doesn't force itself on others,
   Isn't always "me first,"
   Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
   Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
   Puts up with anything,
   Trusts God always,
   Always looks for the best,
   Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end
