UNITED WE STAND

It was a good night to hear updates and the going-on's of our church's desire and decision to expand and reach more people, in line with the vision for generations to come. It was so good to hear people, young and old, offer encouragement to leadership and backing to the statements made and I really saw the church come together like I never really have before. I mean, I've seen people agree and and say, "Okay, I'll work with that, or I'm good with that." But there really was a sense of unity among people that just doesn't happen with a good presentation of material. It's the kinda of unity that I would say God loves. The kind that makes us all brothers and sisters, going for the same thing, with the desire to see more people reached and less people discarded.

What a privelige it was to be there. I think most of us had no idea, when we showed up, that we'd be a part of such a landmark moment in our church body's life and journey. I wonder if people realized how huge of a deal that night was and how significant it will be in the direction that Living Water moves in. I was completely blown away and blessed by the obvious unity of our body and how focused everyone was on the goal of ministry in our communities instead of just a nicer, bigger place to do the same old Sunday morning thing. I'm stoked to see what's coming! It's huge!
