Friends And Family

I think the idea of friends and family being seperate is pretty interesting. Why do you think we seperate the two and hold different expectations with both? As I grow into this twenty-first year of my life, the line between the two is becoming increasingly blurred and this makes me happy. I used to think that my family should get certain things from me and friends likewise...but its become harder to share something with one and not with the other. Sure, we will have the people who are blood; who will always be apart of our heritage and ancestory, but think about the potential we have when we welcome friends into the 'family circle.' I love families who treat friends or acquaintances like family; as if they all grew up together. Its a good thing to love people [friends & family] and since we were created to love one another and that love would be the identifier and mark of who we are, I want to love greatly. If I could be caught by love as I purposely fall into it, I would do that everyday.
