Days Off

What a splendidly good day it was. It started out with this lady and ended with her! She's a good woman. Here are some of the highlights we encountered//chose//decided//to partake in today:

• We attended the last session of the Joyce Meyer Conference [10 a.m.]. Other than the fact that the girl to guy ratio was like 20:1, it was so good to experience worship from my 'home' church in australia and to hear people begin to speak in tongues for the first time. Definitely a good way to start the day off on a day off!
• I got to see a friend from austraila that was on tour with the team and she is really enjoying the tour schedule along with its 'no-sleep guarantee.'
• Torie and I headed to Seattle and arrived to see pikes place market WAY MORE alive than usual. They were having some kinda festival and there was several temporary vendors that had good eats. We worked on eight asada tacos [authentic].
• We both got some bargains on a clothing article [well, I know I did, and I am assuming she as well].
• Be sure to take time off to do things you enjoy! It will make the 'work' part of your week that much better.
