What To Do If The Hyperdrive Breaks Down

On a scale of 0-1,000,000,000,000 - how important is knowing who your leading and what your leading them too, to you? It's becoming increasingly more important for me to realize what I have been given [first - an opportunity to love people, second - a purpose to lead people, and third - people to lead]. Imagine walking down a wilderness trail being led by someone who has no idea where they are going or why they are even in the wilderness. You would both be blind in purpose and knowledge. You would both be lost and both in need of a leader or director. I must know why am leading people and what I should be leading them to. I am to lead them to Jesus because He is the Word which is light [Psalm 119:105]. What does that make us, His creation? The light of the world [Matthew 5:14]. We are the light of the world! Thats a big deal! Why? Because the word says that God is light [1 John 1:5]. So we are also partakers of that light. And O what a light we carry. It's a light that literally can bring the possible where the impossible once lingered. It's a light that shines through the darkness. Its a light that has a name; a very strong and awesome name. It's a light that is unapproachable yet lives inside of us. Yeah, it's a light that has way more glow, way more shimmer, way more potential than the greatest stars in our universe. Its Jesus Christ who has called us the sons and daughters of this world that we may be light to it. Be sure you don't walk blindly down the wilderness trail or you'll end up a little wet and suprised. It's not a light thing.
