The Twenty Third Hour

With the weather pulling a fast one on many of us...there is alot of "interesting" things happening around the country. For example, an earthquake hit the midwest today and registered as the strongest ever recorded in the state of Illinois [check out the story here]. Then we see this apparently random occasion of snow here in the northwest. Why would it snow in april? Could it be pointing to something that we haven't been paying attention to? I believe its a sign of revival, of stirring, of the impossible preparing to be possible. Why? Jesus said to look for signs of His kingdom coming and His will being done. I believe its here. And its literally at our back door. Its definitely time to open the door. Our voice as the church of Jesus Christ is making a loud cry to the King who is looking oh so forward to returning for His bride, the church. I want to be ready. I want to read the signs and respond. I want to communicate what He is currently saying. I want to be with Him.

• Romans 8:19 says "For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God."

Who are the sons of God? Us! What are they [creation] doing? Waiting! What are they [creation] waiting for? Revelation or Revealing! All of creation [people, trees, stars, moon, lakes, animals, all things created] is waiting to see the glory of God. We carry a measure of that. And just like Jesus prayed, "on earth as IT IS in heaven," we are to show forth that glory so that all of creation can see and testify of His love and absolute grace. The signs are here. May we see His love [Jesus] in all of creation and respond to the groaning inside of us.
