Thanksgiving Tunes

Coldplay & Death Cab For Cutie are two bands that have really brought a lot of anticipation and excitement to my musical ear in the past years. Well, now we can say that both will be releasing new albums next month and the month following. Death Cab For Cutie is slated to release their new album mid-may [the 13th] and Coldplay is expecting to release their new album mid-june [the 17th].

Both albums [from the singles I have heard] are carrying a much different sound and thats why I am stoked. It's different. It's foreign, but welcomed to my ears. I am excited to see what really unfolds as the whole album is listened to. It seems that both singles have to do with the heart and some form of love. It's interesting to hear what people think love is. I guess it gives me a better perspective when I know what love is [read here to see what love is].It will be like a brand new story that goes beyond a band and their idea to record new ideas. It's a journey of finding new sounds and new ways to release them. It's like when the pilgrims first came to the americas. They wanted to write a new story. But without the help of another people, my native friends, they would have lost that story. These new tunes are gonna be like thanksgiving. A huge assortment of good things that everyone will be able to connect to on some level. Yeah, new music = thanksgiving.
