His Redemption | My Thanksgiving

Today marks my twenty-first year, sixth month and first day of being apart of this great adventure called 'life,' 'history,' and a renewed interest for me, 'thanksgiving.' Not in any correlation to the holiday Thanksgiving, but to the emotion, the knowledge, the commitment, the confession, the question - Thanks(giving)(fulness)(you)(Jesus)(for love)(for giving...). I am truly in awe that I have been apart of so much already at my age (Twenty-one years young). But I am currently revisting the times that I have purposefully stopped to offer thanks back to God for being the sustainer and for carrying me through this adventure. Its been His Redemption for my life thats made it possible for my life to affect whoever it has. Its been His Redemption of my life that has caused whoever it is to come to the knowledge of Jesus as Saviour and Friend. Its been His Redemption of the fallen creature I was that has enabled me to dream about the sonship and dreams that He planted in me and in the people I have come to be connected with both near and far. Its been His Redemption that has actually traded places with me so that I can live the life that He gave up. And not that He 'gave up' as we would think of 'giving up' (failing, dropping out, throwing in the towel), but that He set the standard, paved the highway and asked, "Josh, will you run now? With all that I've cleared up for you and made straight for you? Come on Josh, I know you can run this all the way...even stronger and with greater display of my glory than I displayed." I can say 'thank you.' I can live 'thank you.' But I want to say and live more. Thank You Jesus.
